The University of Birmingham is a glorious public research university located in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The University is a redbrick university, a term used to address a group of prestigious universities founded in the industrial cities in the 19th Century. It also belongs to the famous Russell Group University, a small set of top research universities with a high reputation for academic excellence. The University has 5 departments - College of Arts & Law, College of Medical & Dental Science, College of Life & Environmental Science, College of Engineering & Physical Science, and College of Social Science.   

The main campus of the University of Birmingham is located in Edgbaston, which is home to the World’s tallest free-standing clock, The Joseph Chamberlain Memorial Clock Tower. Along with the tradition of innovation, the University of Birmingham has pioneered research in nanotechnology, robotics, virtual reality, and gene therapy. The university has made a notable contribution to the study of cancer as well. 28% of its research is rated world-leading, while 53% is rated as internationally excellent. The Cadbury Research Library is home to a unique collection of rare books, manuscripts, archives, photographs, and associated artifacts.   

Founded in 1990, The University of Birmingham is well known for producing extraordinarily employable and successful graduates. This university is frequently the most targeted university by global employers. It has five academic colleges consisting of around 100 departments. With an acceptance rate of 13%, the University of Birmingham is extremely selective and competitive with the admissions process.

You need to submit a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute (First class or, in some cases, a good upper second class).

English language requirement (IELTS, PTE or TOEFL)
