Is Howard University waiving the GMAT?

The GMAT or GRE is required of applicants to Howard University's full-time MBA program with a bachelor's degree; however, the standardized test is waived for those with a terminal degree, and a waiver is considered for those with a master's degree. To apply, you'll need two letters of recommendation.

Established in 1867, Howard University provides 140 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. The National Science Foundation has ranked Howard as the top producer of African-American undergraduates who later earn science and engineering doctoral degrees. The university operates with the motto “Veritas et Utilitas,” meaning “Truth and Service.”

Howard University has given more than 130,000 degrees in the arts, sciences, and humanities. The historic main campus is located on a hilltop in Northwest Washington, just blocks away from U Street and the Howard Theatre. It offers Medical Physics (M.S.), Undergraduate Programs, Graduate Programs, Doctorate Programs, and Professional Programs. The Howard University Health Sciences department includes the Howard University Hospital, Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
