Step 5: Fill out any additional IELTS registration information, such as the address, educational qualifications, and the reason for taking the exam.
Step 6: In this step, candidates are required to upload the first and last page of their passport (a passport is mandatory for IELTS). Make sure the document is in JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF format and its size is less than 1 MB.
Step 7: Select the five universities or organizations that the candidate wants to send the IELTS scorecard to, and it will be directly delivered to them. This is an optional step.
Step 8: Review the registration application and make the required changes before submission, if any.
Step 9: Make payment of the IELTS registration fee and click "submit."
Step 10: Once the payment is done, you will receive your acknowledgement receipt via email, along with an IELTS registration number. It's advisable to have the document handy until the exam.
Online: Go to the IELTS British Council/IDP's website and fill up an online profile. After that, you'll have to pay the exam fee (Rs. 16,250). This is the quickest and most convenient method for IELTS registration. You can register at any time and on any day using the online approach. You can pay the IELTS registration fee using multiple payment options including UPI/ net banking, and a credit or debit card.
In-person: One can directly register at the IDP office or the British Council by filing a paper application or downloading it online. You can pay the fees by debit card, credit card, demand draft, or direct bank deposit for which you will get immediate confirmation.
