Concordia University is a public research university located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1974 by members of the Lutheran Church of Canada to serve the English-speaking community in Montreal. The university is spread across two campuses, Loyola Campus and Sir George Williams Campus, with the latter being considered the main campus. Concordia is one of the most highly-rated universities in Quebec and Canada.
