About

Established in1859, St. Francis College, is known for being the first private school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. St. Francis College began as a parochial all-boys academy in the City of Brooklyn. This college offers Associate's Degrees, Bachelor's, and Master's Degrees. In addition to these degrees, the college grants certifications for teaching and nursing.

The college comprises 19 academic departments, which offer 72 majors and minors. St. Francis College has five graduate programs: a five-year combined bachelor's and master's degree in accounting and psychology, a two-year accounting master's program, a master's program in psychology, a master's program in management, and a creative writing MFA. 

St. Francis College provides students access to Manhattan from the promenade, a short walk to the ever-growing Brooklyn Bridge Park, and some of Brooklyn's best cultural institutions, shopping, and dining, just steps away from the university campus. They created accessibility to ensure the delivery of accommodations and auxiliary aids to all students with documented disabilities at St. Francis College.
