Founded in 1819, the University of Cincinnati is known for being among the world's most beautiful campuses. It is part of the University System of Ohio and is one of the largest employers in the Cincinnati region, with over 15,000 staff members. The University of Cincinnati is home to over six departments, including the Department of Business, the Department of Art and Sciences, the Department of Design, the Department of Medicine Art and Architecture and Nursing, the Department of Pharmacy, and the Department of Performing Arts. It also has an Institute for Policy Research. The main campus - West Campus of the University of Cincinnati includes 62 buildings on 137 acres. The College of Health Sciences and Nursing, the College of Medicine, and the Winkle College of Pharmacy are all located on the Medical Campus. Shriners Hospital for Children, Cincinnati VA Medical Centre, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital are the three main hospitals on this campus. Victory Parkway Campus, which houses the College of Applied Sciences, is roughly 3 miles from the main campus. The university has produced many notable alumni, including Evelyn Venable - First Model for Columbia Pictures, 2017; Al Hirt - Winner of 20 Grammy Awards and known as the King of Trumpet, Tennessee Ernie - Marked his name on the Hall of Fame list, Hugh O'Brian - Golden Globe-winning actor, Earl Hamner - Emmy-winning producer, Ashley Nkadi - Miss Black Ohio, among several others.

This is an innovative program that offers students the opportunity to become credentialed in two diagnostic medical imaging modalities, while obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Traditionally, programs specialize in a single diagnostic medical imaging modality and most programs are housed within a certificate or associate degree programs that are 12-24 months in length. The Advanced Medical Imaging Technology program curriculum ensures students are educated in multiple diagnostic medical imaging modalities giving one credentials in both magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine technology.

The Advanced Medical Imaging Technology (AMIT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certificate program provides an avenue for post-baccalaureate students who are unable to pursue a second baccalaureate or an advanced degree. About
The University of Cincinnati (UC) offers the opportunity to specialize and train in a unique area through the Animal Audiology certificate program. The program is the only one of its kind and is designed for Audiology students as well as working audiologists. Currently 80 breeds of dogs experience genetically related deafness with more experiencing deafness due to age and noise exposure. The American Kennel Club advises breeders to have puppies tested by means of a BAER test and registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.
