Appication Process for this scholarship
- Complete online BSc Application
- The following tasks must be completed and submitted with the application:
- Conduct a 40-minute interview with an industry professional and write a two-page summary
- Record a 10-minute presentation in front of friends or classmates, upload the recording to an online platform of your choice and provide an available link SHL Inspire Scholarship Candidate Profile
- Arrange for a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s school
- Arrange for a letter of recommendation from someone in the hotel or hospitality industry

Scholarship Eligibility
- The SHL Inspire Scholarship Programme supports exceptional and inspiring young people
- Applicants will be interviewed for 40 minute
- Applicants must demonstrate outstanding passion and flair for the hotel and hospitality industry, as well as their aspiration to become inspiring leaders
- The following points will be considered:
- Academic and extra-curricular achievements
- Any previous hospitality work experience is a plus
- Level of quality of the submitted presentation and interview, as well as the content of the recommendation letters
- Team coaching with an industry leader is required
