  • Conversion rate used: 1 EUR = Rs. 89.64
  • Scholarship amount will be given: Every Semester
  • For this scholarship you receive EUR 2,500 in the 1st semester and EUR 2,500 in the 2nd semester.
  • After that you can receive EUR 2,500 per year for the following 3 years of study.
  • To get this you must continue earning the required 45 credits each year.

Appication Process for this scholarship

 

  • Apply for a degree program at HAN University of Applied Sciences. Make sure you get accepted before the relevant date.
  • Diplomas and certificates must be evaluated, so apply well in advance.
  • Once accepted into the program and meeting all scholarship requirements, you’ll receive an email inviting you to apply for the scholarship.
  • Note: All degrees start in September; some programs are also offered in February.
  • Prepare Your Scholarship Application:
    • Prepare the following 3 items:
      • A motivation letter explaining why you’ll be a successful HAN student.
      • A short video (Max. 3 minutes) addressing the following:
        • Describe yourself and the things you excel in.
        • What would your former teachers or friends tell us about you?
        • Tell us about your chosen course of study at HAN.
        • Imagine you’re working in a team. Based on your personality/experience, what role would you have and why?
        • What are your career ambitions? Where do you see yourself 10 years from now (professionally)?
      • Your Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Submit Your Application:
    • Follow the link in the email invitation and fill out the application form.
    • Submit your application digitally with the 3 prepared items.
    • Submit before the following deadlines:
      • Starting in September: 1 May, 12 pm CEST.
      • Starting in February: 19 October, 12 pm CEST.
  • Receive Notification:
    • You will receive an email with the scholarship award notification:
      • Starting in September: 1 June.
      • Starting in February: 3 November.
  • Accept the Scholarship:
  • Send a written acceptance of the scholarship by the date stated in your award notification letter.

Scholarship Eligibility

 

  • You are a national of a country outside the EU/EEA
  • You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands
  • You have not previously been enrolled in a degree at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands
  • You have been accepted into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN
  • You have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90 or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE)
