Scholarship amount details

The scholarship is valued at $40,000 for one twelve-month academic year of full-time study.

The scholarship is renewable and subject to an annual progress review.

The award can be held for a maximum of 24 months of full-time study.

Fees are not waived and must be paid out of the award.

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 62.74 (last updated 7th December 2023)

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants with first-class standing (>37/43) in their last two years of academic study, who are currently pursuing or intending to pursue studies in any discipline in which Dalhousie offers graduate degrees are welcome to apply once they have submitted an application for admission to their intended program of study

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • First preference will be given to Iranian students who are residents of Iran
  • Second preference will be given to other international students
