BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus offers the BITS PILANI Tuition Fee Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. BITS PILANI Tuition Fee Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like B.E. Biotechnology,B.E. Chemical Engineering,B.E. Mechanical Engineering,B.E. Civil Engineering,B.E. Electronics and Communications Engineering,B.E. Computer Science,B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering. If we consider the amount of the BITS PILANI Tuition Fee Scholarship, then it varies each semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS .

Scholarship amount details

A tuition waiver of 40% is offered for the first-year tuition fee. Admitted candidates who have obtained 70% or above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be offered a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years).

Conversion rate used: 1 AED = Rs. 20.25 (last updated 7th December 2023).

At any given time, a student can avail more than one scholarship/ concession on tuition fee unless otherwise mentioned, provided the total scholarship/ concession amount does not exceed more than 50% of the tuition fee amount of that semester including all or any scholarship/concession availed by the student

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants need a minimum 95% aggregate overall in their 12th with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks in each subject
  • English is the medium of instruction; therefore, good proficiency in English is essential for admission
  • Candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from Non-English medium must have secured a minimum TOEFL Score of 500 in the paper-based test or 61 in the internet-based test or have an IELTS Score of 5 or above
