Scholarship Overview

The FEBE International Engineering and Technology Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship has been established to encourage and support academically gifted International students to study a postgraduate coursework program with the Faculty. This scholarship is open to new International students as well as those international students who have completed undergraduate studies with UON.

Scholarship amount details

If students achieve a Bachelor GPA of 4.5/7 or 58% (pass = 50%), you will be paid AU$1,000 per semester (total of AU$2,000 per year of study).
Conversion rate used: 1 AUD = Rs. 54.76 (last updated 7th December 2023).

Scholarship Eligibility

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled in any year of an eligible Engineering or Technology Postgraduate Coursework program with UON
  • Applicants must be studying on-campus with the University of Newcastle in Australia
  • Applicants must be an International full-fee paying student
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time (minimum 30 units)
  • Applicants must meet the minimum 45 GPA entry-level requirement
  • Applicants must not hold another scholarship for the same program of equivalent or more substantial benefit in the current or previous study
  • Applicants must not hold any other FEBE fee waiver scholarships, with the exception of the FEBE Alumni Family or FEBE Family Scholarships
  • Overall TOEFL score of 93 with at least a score of 21 in each component
  • Overall IELTS score of 65 with at least a score of 6 in each component
