Scholarship Overview

The Senate Graduate Scholarship program provides funds to match scholarship designated contributions made by faculty, staff, and retirees to graduate programs at the University of Waterloo. The spirit of the award is to give deserving students who are in good academic standing (minimum B+ standing), registered full time within the time limits of their program, and who would not be in receipt of a major external scholarship (ie. Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), tri-council) an award to help them out.

Scholarship Eligibility

• Student must be registered in Full-time studies in University of Waterloo, must not be exceeding the time limit of the program
• Must not be supported by a major external scholarship such as the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) or Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)
