The Shardashish Interschool Fellowship is presented with the aid of Columbia University in the USA. The Shardashish Interschool Fellowship is made feasible via the generous support of the UNM (Uttambhai Nathalal Mehta) Foundation. The Shardashish fellowship at Columbia University intends to make the best international academic opportunities available to vibrant and dedicated college students who are economically challenged. Beneficiaries of “Shardashish” (blessings of Mother of Knowledge) should push their existing barriers to acquire and excel. Shardashish fellows expect that they will maximize their learning opportunities and once successful will pay it forward, by enabling others.

This scholarship is applicable for Columbia University in United States of America. This scholarship is applicable for the following:

1) Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (5 programs) –

  • Master of Arts in Biotechnology
  • Master of Arts in Mathematics of Finance
  • Master of Arts in Statistics
  • Master of Arts in Economics
  • Master of Arts in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology

2) The Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (MS programs only) –

  • in any engineering discipline

3) School of International and Public Affairs (1 program) –

  • Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy

  • Max scholarship per student: USD 50000
  • Conversion rate used: 1 USD = Rs. 84.08
  • Scholarship amount will be given: One Time
  • The maximum amount for any individual fellow is USD 50,000 for one year. The award can be applied to tuition and fees.
