The UC International Scholarship is offered to undergraduate international students who are starting their studies at Uptown (Main) Campus or at any other Regional Campus of University of Cincinnati.

Scholarship amount details

  • Max scholarship per student: USD 15,000 => Rs 12,50,250
  • Conversion rate used: 1 USD = Rs. 83.35 (last updated 7th December 2023)
  • Scholarship amount will be given: Yearly
  • For students applying to Uptown (Main) Campus, the average combined scholarship amount awarded is $8,000 per academic year, adding up to $32,000 over 4 academic years
  • A student starting as a first-year can renew the scholarships up to 8 academic semesters, and a student transferring to UC can renew the scholarships up to 4 or 6 academic semesters (based on the program duration)
  • Students applying to UC Blue Ash College or UC Clermont College, the average scholarship is $1,500 per academic year, adding up to $3,000 over 4 academic semesters
  • A student starting as a first-year or transfer can renew the scholarships up to 4 academic semesters

  • There is not a separate application for UC’s International Scholarships All international students who are offered admission to the University of Cincinnati are automatically considered based on their application and required application materials

Additional Information: All students with a UC International Student Scholarship must:

  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative University of Cincinnati GPA per academic semester
  • Complete 15 hours of community service per academic semester (with no more than 5 hours done on campus)
  • Maintain full-time enrollment status (at least 12 semester hours) and have academic progress towards a degree

 

Scholarship Eligibility

Students are eligible for the scholarships if they are 1 of the following:

  • Students whose entire high school was completed outside the US
  • Students entering UC directly from a university outside of the US
  • Students entering UC through Conditional Admission
  • Foreign nationals who have completed (or are completing) an Associate’s degree from an accredited university or community college in the US or outside of the US
  • Foreign national transfer students who have earned at least 24 semester hours of university level course credit at a university outside of the US
