Scholarship amount details

30% tuition fee reduction for the minimum duration of an eligible course. If a scholarship holder has no fail grades but does not meet the minimum WAM requirement for his or her scholarship, the amount of the scholarship will be reduced from 15% to 0% as the case applies.

Conversion rate used: 1 AED = Rs. 20.25 (last updated 7th December 2023).

Additional Information:

  • Scholarships awarded to students are reviewed annually at the beginning of the Autumn trimester (unless otherwise stated)
  • In order to retain this Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
    • Enroll in a minimum of 2 subjects in Autumn and Spring (for students on a UOWD sponsored visa only)
    • Maintain a WAM of ≥65 (for both 25% and 15% scholarship)
    • Receive no “Fail” (F or TF) grades

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applications are open to students of any citizenship
  • Applications are open to new (entry level) students only who will be undertaking full-time study
  • Applicants must have achieved the minimum grades as listed in the Curriculum table below
  • Applicants must meet all of the academic and admission criteria to be admitted to the University and be intending to enroll in the relevant session for which they have applied
  • Applicants should have one of the following:
    • 70% in the bachelor’s degree or
    • 8.5/10 GPA in the bachelor’s degree or
    • 3.5/4 GPA in the bachelor’s degree
  • Applicants should have one of the following English language proficiency scores:
    • 79 score in TOEFL with not less than 20 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 16 in Speaking
    • 6 score in IELTS with 6.0 in Reading and Writing and 5.0 in Listening and Speaking
    • 54 score in PTE with a minimum of 54 in reading and writing, listening and speaking 47
