Additional Information:

  • The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as assessed from a student’s application for admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
  • The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee consisting of two nominees of the Executive Director, Sydney Future Students and one nominee of the Admissions Office

 

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants must hold any one of the following:

  • An Australian bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
  • An Australian bachelor’s degree or higher in an unrelated discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification and relevant professional work experience (typically three years), or
  • An Australian bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline with less than a credit average (minimum 50 percent required) or equivalent qualification and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or equivalent Business School approved admissions test
  • must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement by submitting one of the following tests:
    • IELTS- Overall score of 7, with a minimum score of 60 in each band
    • TOEFL- Overall score of 96, with a minimum of 17 in reading, listening and speaking and 19 in writing
    • PTE- 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
  • Applicants who have undertaken a bachelor’s degree or other approved tertiary qualifications where the instruction for their qualification (teaching, assessment, and examination) was entirely in English will be waived from the English requirement
  • Must have applied for but not yet commenced a bachelor’s degree or a coursework master’s degree that is a CRICOS registered award program usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney
  • To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum semester average mark of 65 and have no outstanding tuition fees
  • must be willing to promote the program in which they are enrolled as well as represent the University of Sydney at student orientation, marketing events and corporate networking events
