Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship – PG Taught is offered by the Queen’s University Belfast to international students. Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship – PG Taught is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in the UK at the Queen’s University Belfast. Every year, the university selects 4 candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 13125 at Queen’s University Belfast. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Appication Process for this scholarship

  • To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must complete the online application form and submit a video as detailed on the application form within the deadline
  • Submit a short 2-minute video outlining ‘why you want to come and study at Queen’s University Belfast’ and ‘how you believe your programme of choice will benefit you in your future career aspirations’
  • The criteria are not for a high-quality video production, the applicant will be judged on the content and the quality of presentation skills only
  • Please ensure that the video is clearly audible
  • If the video cannot be opened, then the submission will not be accepted
  • Please ensure that you clearly identify your submission by including your Queen’s University Belfast application reference and your full name on the email which accompanies your video
  • Any videos that exceed the requested length of 2 minutes will NOT be considered

  • Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this discount
  • The Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship-Postgraduate Taught awarded is for entry to Queen’s University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23 and cannot be used for 2023/24 entry or any other year
  • Students must be self-funded
  • In the event that a student has received scholarship offers for a number of different programmes at Queen’s University, they will only be able to redeem one scholarship award. This will be the scholarship award for the course onto which they enrol in the 2022/23 academic year
  • Applicants may apply and/or be considered for more than one award administered by Queen’s University Belfast but if successful would receive the Higher of the awards with the lower value award cancelled or allocated to another applicant

Scholarship Eligibility

Students must hold an offer for a place on a full-time eligible postgraduate taught programme starting in the academic year 2022/23 at the Queen’s University Belfast campus which has been confirmed as their FIRM choice, and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter.
