About

The master's degree in statistics has two orientations: fundamental statistics and applied statistics. While the fundamental orientation promotes the deepening of a particular field of research, the applied orientation emphasizes the acquisition and application of state-of-the-art statistical techniques used in different fields. Regardless of the orientation chosen, students will intensify their ability to listen and dialogue, gain confidence and sharpen their critical sense concerning statistical methodology and practice, following the code of ethics of the profession.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be admitted to a program, students must hold an undergraduate degree or have successfully completed a level of education deemed equivalent by the admissions committee. To be eligible, students must pass the French Knowledge Test, as most courses offered are in French, and students must have adequate knowledge of the language.
