Philosophy can be studied in Regensburg as a first major (bachelor's degree), second major or minor. In the bachelor's subject, the student completes a total of 102 to 120 credit points in philosophy (second major: 60, minor: 30) and prepares a bachelor's thesis. The course comprises four basic courses (second major: also four, minor: two of four), which consist of lectures that provide a comprehensive introduction to the central areas of philosophy (history of philosophy, theoretical philosophy, practical philosophy, modern logic) and a exercise to be accompanied.

Eligibility Requirements:

International applicants need a so-called "direct HZB" in order to be able to study in Germany. They often acquire this qualification with the completion of secondary school, which qualifies them to study in their home country.
