In this program, students will approach cinema from several academic, theoretical, and critical approaches. This program will empower students to explore the cultural, economic, and political implications of film as an art form. This course introduces students to the basics of film analysis, cinematic formal elements, genre, and narrative structure and helps students develop the skills to recognize, analyze, describe and enjoy the film as an art and entertainment form.
