About

Biomedical engineers combine mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine to help solve medical and scientific health problems. They are involved in medical device design fabrication and testing, prosthesis fabrication, ergonomics and human factors, physiological function monitoring, home health care technology development, biomedical informatics, and functional imaging and tomography. They also conduct research in biomaterial development and biocompatibility, artificial tissue and organ fabrication, cell- and biomolecule-based sensors and therapeutics, gene therapy development, and biomedical microsystems. The program studies how microscopic machines facilitate the movement of cargo like proteins, neurotransmitters, or hormones around a cell.

Eligibility Requirements:

International students seeking admission into the undergraduate program, applicants must have completed their high school diploma/senior secondary school from an institute accredited by the State or National board of education. Applicants will also be asked to provide supporting documentation as part of their application, including secondary/high school transcripts showing the date of graduation, submission of english proficiency test scores, and other documents. Applicants are required to provide proof of sufficient funds for the course duration.
