This program prepares students for the State of Illinois Professional Educator's License in Elementary Education, which qualifies them to teach children from first through sixth grade. It also includes an English as a Second Language endorsement that licenses them to teach English Language Learners. Students participate in classroom field experiences their first year, then they gain additional field experiences during their sophomore and junior years. These prepare them for the senior year student teaching experience.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for admission into the undergraduate program, applicants must have completed their high school diploma/senior secondary school from an institute accredited by the State or National board of education. Applicants will also be asked to provide supporting documentation as part of their application, including secondary/high school transcripts showing the date of graduation, submission of english proficiency test scores, and other documents. Applicants are required to provide proof of sufficient funds for the course duration.
