About

The program area of rural studies takes prominence given the geographic placement of the University at the edge of the high plains. Students should expect to learn more about population patterns, geographic constraints, and the historic and current importance of agriculture to the residents. In addition, students will learn skills related to policy analysis, advocacy, and rural civic investment. The core courses include AGRI 321 Agricultural Law & Policy (3 Credit Hours) - An examination of laws, regulations, and case decisions that are of significance to the agricultural production, business, and food industries.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for admission into the undergraduate program, applicants must have completed their high school diploma/senior secondary school from an institute accredited by the State or National board of education. Applicants will also be asked to provide supporting documentation as part of their application, including secondary/high school transcripts showing the date of graduation, submission of english proficiency test scores, and other documents. Applicants are required to provide proof of sufficient funds for the course duration.
