The Master's and Certification (MAC) Program allows students to work toward two goals simultaneously: educator certification and a master's degree in Elementary Education. This degree is appropriate for persons seeking EC-Grade 6 or Grades 4-8 Initial Teacher Certification. The competencies required for this program are in the area of “Graduate Level Initial Certification.” This program is usually referred to as the Masters and Certification (MAC) program.
