The terms and conditions of scholarships vary for each university and country where you pursue your master's degree.

Here are some common terms and conditions that you can expect from the university offering a scholarship for a master's degree.

  • Universities attempt to help prospective and existing students finance their education.

  • To apply for the right scholarship, you should do your study for the scholarships and financial aid for which you may be qualified.

  • The university is not responsible for fees, financing, or scholarship search mistakes or omissions. Unless otherwise stated, the fees shown are yearly rates for full-time study.

  • You must submit an online application form and supporting documents to begin the process.

  • Make sure you adhere to the deadlines. If you delay your start date at the university, your scholarship will not be transferred. So, seek permission from the concerned authorities before making any such changes.

  • The scholarship might cover both tuition and living expenses for a one-year taught master's degree for some universities, but that may vary.

  • For students pursuing a master's degree, the maximum period of a stipend and fee offset is two years.

  • Any previous periods of study toward the course for which the scholarship is offered will lower the scholarship term.

  • You will not be eligible for the scholarship if you receive support (tuition fees and living expenses) from an external sponsoring entity such as the government, a charity, or a private organization.

  • Before making any changes to the program of study, you must get permission from the International Office.

  • The scholarship amount granted will be non-negotiable, and the university will not consider requests for higher or additional funds.

  • The university's decision on the program's successful scholars is final, and there will be no more correspondence.

  • The university has the right to change all or any scholarship grants, discounts, or rules.

  • Eligible students must fulfill the English language requirements for the course they want to take. Universities accept the IELTS Academic (both SELT and non-SELT) and TOEFL internet-based examinations for direct admission.

  • The university will make you an offer of award in writing, which you must accept in line with the offer.

  • Throughout your scholarship term, you will be required to provide the progress reports in the format required by the university whenever requested.

  • In addition, the university may ask you to attend events and participate in internal and external communications activities related to your award.

  • You might also be asked to agree to act in an ambassadorial capacity, provide student profiles or testimonials, and attend scholarship or recruitment events as required for the university.
