Every year, the Board of Admissions awards the Presidential Scholarship to incoming students with excellent academic records. In addition to being among our most academically talented students, Presidential Scholars demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom and are leaders in their schools and communities. This $8,000 tuition scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study at Lawrence Technological University.

  • The academic scholarships are considered automatically for all admitted undergraduates including international students
  • Once the application is complete, an applicant will be reviewed for the admission decision
  • To be reviewed, applicants will need an official SAT or ACT score on file

Additional Information:

  • University is now automatically reviewing any accepted student for merit scholarship
  • The scholarship review committee is conducting a merit-based, holistic review for each accepted student, taking a look at many factors like a student’s incoming GPA, the courses taken in high school, and the rigor of those courses
  • for example, a student taking high level math courses or a focus on science courses during their time in high school to intensify the rigor of their schedule and add a bit of a challenge
  • ACT or SAT scores are not required to receive a scholarship
  • Students must be admitted to LTU by March 1st to be reviewed for a merit scholarship

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicant:

  • must be a freshman student with GPA of 3.8 or higher in high school (standard XII)
  • Test scores are not required to receive scholarships; students who are unable to submit standardized scores will not be disadvantaged in the merit scholarship process
