  • A one-page statement of interest (not a research proposal) in an area of interdisciplinary research of computer science alongside art, dance, drama, design, or music

Scholarship Eligibility

  • All students enrolled in a thesis-based graduate degree program
  • Four-year baccalaureate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Art, Dance, Drama, Design, or Music Background in two areas is preferred
  • A minimum of 30 GPA on a 40 point system, over the past two years of full-time study (a minimum of 10 full-course equivalents or 60 units) of the undergraduate degree
  • A Graduate Program Director may exempt an applicant whose first language is not English from the ELP requirement if they meet the following criteria:
  • The student has completed one of the following degrees in an institution where the sole language of instruction and examination is English:
  • a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of 3 years in length), or
  • a Graduate Degree
  • Eligible institutions must be listed as providing English language instruction in the World Higher Education Database (WHED)
