Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Two references- A written recommendation from a teacher, adviser or professional who knows the applicant academically is required
  • Personal Statement required, which should answers the questions below:
    • Why you are applying – your ambitions and what interests you about the subject, course providers and higher education
    • What makes you suitable – any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work or other activities
    • Why you want to study in the UK
    • Why you want to be an international student rather than study in your own country
  • Academic transcripts and certificates
  • Proof of ELP scores

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable.

  • This discount is not available in conjunction with the International Excellence Scholarships or Academic Excellence Scholarships
  • All alumni from short courses including Pre-sessional, International Foundation Certificate, International Year One, Pre-masters Certificate, and CPD are not eligible for this discount
  • This is awarded automatically, based on evidence of previous study at the University

Scholarship Eligibility

  • International students enrolling on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme who have been referred by an alumnus of the university who holds a full Roehampton qualification or who studied here on an exchange/study abroad programme
  • Applicants must be enrolling in a programme which is taught on campus
  • High school English is accepted at grade 70%
  • International Foundation Certificate: XII Standard
  • Subjects required: Mathematics
  • IELTS- 60 overall with no less than 55 in any band
  • PTE- 54 overall with no less than 51 in any band
