  • The scholarships are available to applicants from any country and apply only to those who enroll directly in Year 1 of the Architecture course in 2022
  • Students who have a previous degree or other Higher Education qualifications will not be eligible
  • Payments will be made at the start of each academic year, after enrollment, subject to provision of relevant bank details by the offer holder
  • Payments will be made for a maximum of three years
  • Payments for Year 2 and Year 3 are subject to satisfactory progression within the program in Year 1 and Year 2 respectively
  • The scholarship will not apply to those who defer entry onto the program

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Academic achievement of grades AAB at A-Level (or equivalent)
    • An impressive performance at the interview, which demonstrates excellent design and representation skills and a clear commitment to studying architecture at the University of Reading
    • Place the University of Reading as a Firm choice with UCAS by the UCAS deadline for replies (expected to be 10th June 2021)
    • Applicant must have completed XII grade-Higher Secondary School certificates with high overall scores if the certificate has been awarded by CBSE or CISCE boards
    • English Language Proficiency:
      • IELTS: 65
      • PTE: 69 overall with min 59 in each component/69 overall with min 64 in each component
      • The student scoring 70% in English in class 12th from CBSE/ICSE board and scoring 75% from other boards are exempted from giving ELP requirements
