Additional Information

  • The scholarships are available to applicants from any country and apply only to those who enroll directly in first year of the Architecture course in 2023. Students who have a previous degree or other Higher Education qualifications will not be eligible
  • payments will be made at the start of each academic year, after enrolment, subject to provision of relevant bank details by the offer holder
  • payments will be made for a maximum of three years
  • payments for second year and Year 3 are subject to satisfactory progression within the programme in first and second year respectively
  • the scholarship will not apply to those who defer entry on to the programme.

 

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the scheme applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic achievement of grades AAB at A-Level (or equivalent)
  • An impressive performance at interview, which demonstrates excellent design and representation skills and a clear commitment to studying architecture at the University of Reading
  • Applicant must have completed XII grade-Higher Secondary School certificates with high overall scores if the certificate has been awarded by CBSE or CISCE boards
  • English Language Proficiency:
    • IELTS: 6.5
    • PTE: 69 overall with min. 59 in each component/69 overall with min. 64 in each component
    • The student scoring 70% in English in class 12th from CBSE/ICSE board and scoring 75% from other boards are exempted from giving ELP requirements
