Appication Process for this scholarship

Application process- Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

  • A written statement of approximately 300 words outlining:
    • how the scholarship would assist you in your course
    • your participation in campus life
    • your future career plans and aspirations
    • how your future plans illustrate a commitment to ACU’s mission and to the community
    • An acknowledgement that you will consider providing support to students in the future when you are in a position to do so
  • A written reference or evidence demonstrating participation or endorsement of campus life
  • Evidence of financial need, this can be any of the following:
  • Most recent Tax Assessment Notice
  • Centrelink Income Statement
  • The most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks

  • Recipients will be requested to submit an impact statement for the donor explaining how the scholarship has assisted them. The letter should be submitted to the Scholarships Office no later than 1 October in the year the scholarship is awarded
  • Recipients will be invited to a presentation event and are requested to attend if this does not impede placement or study commitments

Scholarship Eligibility

This scholarship is open to current ACU students who meet all of the following criteria:

  • must be enrolled in the second, third or fourth ACU undergraduate Business degree (including double degrees)
  • must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.0 on the ACU seven-point scale, across all ACU undergraduate studies
  • financial hardship
  • participant in campus activities
