CBS International Business School is an officially recognised, private business school with three campuses in Cologne, Mainz and Potsdam. From Bachelor to MBA, courses of study are offered in both German and English. But why should you study at CBS? It is quite simple. All highly motivated non-EU applicants are given the opportunity to receive a one-time 3.000 € scholarship of the total tuition fee (1.500 € for MBA Fast-Track).

Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Submit certificates of your first academic degree (Bachelor) and proof of your study achievements to date (official academic transcript of records)
  • Provide an updated CV in tabular format
  • Submit English Language Proficiency scores
  • Include a letter of motivation (1-2 pages) expressing your enthusiasm to study at CBS and in Germany (For Master and MBA applicants: One letter of motivation is sufficient for both the scholarship and the study programme)
  • Attach a digital passport photo (JPG)
  • Provide a copy of your ID or residence permit (if available)
  • Optionally, include proof of your semester abroad and/or proof of job experience/internship
  • No separate application is required for the scholarship Eligibility will automatically be checked during the application process, provided that all required documents have been submitted
  • The deadline for the winter semester (all campuses)

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have a first academic qualification (Bachelor of Arts, Diploma, Master of Arts) from a recognized university with a final grade of at least “good”
  • The applicant must be a non-EU citizen
  • Submit a full application for a CBS program (Bachelor, Master, MBA)
  • The applicant provides excellent academic achievements OR
  • Proof of extracurricular activities in a social and cultural field OR
  • A letter of motivation (1-2 pages) that states your enthusiasm to study at CBS and in Germany (For Master and MBA applicants: One letter of motivation is sufficient for both the scholarship and the study program)
  • Applicants must have initial job experience of at least one year
  • Telephone Interview is mandatory for all those applicants who are unable to complete/attend an Assessment test held in Germany
