Scholarship Overview

The University of Waterloo provides this scholarship. Every year, a scholarship will be awarded to a full-time female graduate student who is registered in either Master’s or Doctoral programs in the Faculty of Mathematics based on the academic merit of her studies and/or research. The value of the year’s award will be determined by the income generated by the fund every year, nevertheless, it aims to give at least one award with a value of $3,000 each year. The endowment fund was donated to the University of Waterloo in 2011 by Cathy and Paul Cotton to help female Waterloo students with postgraduate studies in Mathematics worth $100,000.
