Deakin India 20% PG Bursary is a type of scholarship which is offered at Deakin University to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University. “To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. Along with the Deakin India 20% PG Bursary application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Deakin India 20% PG Bursary would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Deakin University Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Deakin University community and of course the academic achievements.

Additional Information:

  • This bursary/scholarship (depending on which it is) is only available once you can travel to Australia and commence your studies on-campus. While you are studying online in India (or ‘your home country’ for the South Asia onshore merit scholarship), you may be eligible for the Deakin In-Country 30% Bursary, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
  • Students who meet the selection and eligibility criteria will automatically receive a 20% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in the offer letter. This will be applied against the student’s records after census date.

 

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible, all the below selection criteria must be met:

  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen with a valid Indian Passport
  • Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application
  • Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorised agent based in INDIA
  • An overall score of 55% – 7499% in an undergraduate degree
