Appication Process for this scholarship

 

  • Submit a completed Common Application with required materials by the Early Action deadline of November 1.
  • For majors requiring a portfolio or audition, apply by the December 1 Regular Decision deadline
  • The winners will be notified by April 1, 2025
  • The general documents required for admission to the university includes:
    • Letter(s) of Recommendation: One letter is required from either your school counselor or a teacher from your school.
    • Essay: Applicants are required to submit essays and Short Answer questions
    • Academic transcripts: Provide official copies of academic records from all secondary or senior secondary schools, pre-university programs, and colleges and universities you have attended.
    • Financial Statement: For timely and accurate admission review, the Financial Statement of Personal or Family Support should be uploaded via your USC Applicant Portal within two weeks of your respective application deadline.
    • English Proficiency: All international applicants whose native language is not English should plan on submitting a USC-approved English proficiency examination to be considered for admission.

Scholarship Eligibility

 

  • Applicants must have passed High School
  • Applicants are expected to have studied a rigorous high school curriculum in English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language and the arts, though not mandatory
  • Must have studied: four years of mathematics and three years of natural sciences
  • In addition to academic criteria, candidates’ talent, perseverance, innovation, involvement and leadership are considered
  • English Langauge Proficiency:
    • TOEFL: 100 with min 20 in each section
    • IELTS (or IELTS Indicator) score of 7.
  • Applicants must be at the top of applicant pool with respect to GPA and SAT or ACT scores
