Scholarship Overview

The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. Part of the scholarships are meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to study in Holland. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.

Scholarship amount details

  • € 5000 in the first academic year for Non-EEA students, as a contribution to living expenses for a TU Delft MSc program based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality
  • Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship
  • A candidate can be awarded multiple Holland Scholarships, based on merit, to a maximum of 3 (€15.000)

Additional Information:

  • No extra application form is needed to apply for the scholarship.
  • Only students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email between the end of March 2021 and May 2021

 

Scholarship Eligibility

  • A bachelor’s degree with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% of the scale maximum.
  • Excellent applicants from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year Regular TU Delft’s MSc programs with a bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands.
  • Portfolio required. The digital portfolio should include samples of work from the previous educational program.
  • Working experience may be added to the portfolio.
  • A portfolio should reflect the scope and variety of previous training and experience with specific emphasis on applicants knowledge and skills in the degree track for which they are applying.
  • The applicant should submit work that represents personal interests as well as one’s design and technological abilities.
  • Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:.
  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 21 for each section.
  • IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 for each section.
