The Delft University of Technology provides this scholarship. The NL Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. Part of the scholarships are meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to study in Holland. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

  • Max scholarship per student: EUR 5,000 => Rs 4,47,660
  • Conversion rate used: 1 EUR = Rs. 89.53
  • Scholarship amount will be given: One Time
  • EUR 5,000 in the first academic year for Non EEA students, as contribution to living expenses for a TU Delft MSc program based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality.
  • A candidate can be awarded multiple NL Scholarships, based on merit, up to a maximum of 3 (EUR 15,000).

Appication Process for this scholarship

 

ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED MUST BE SUBMITTED AT ONCE with the MSc Application!

1.   Complete your MSc application (check the admission requirements )

2.   Upload the  Scholarship Application Form

3.  Upload or request TWO reference letters :

  • You can upload your reference letters during your MSc application (as one PDF document), according to the  indicated requirements . 

And/or

  • You can request the reference letters from your referee(s). Fill out the information about your referee/s and invite them by using the ‘send invitation button’. The referee(s) will receive an automatic email inviting him/her to upload a reference for you.
  • You can combine both procedures. Eg 1 upload and 1 referee request.
  • Reference letters will not be considered if you have already submitted your application.
  • Reference letters will not be accepted after the Scholarship deadline.

4.   Upload the  English language certificate

  • Please note that Non-EU/EFTA students must include their English test with their application (if required).

Scholarship Eligibility

 

  • MSc program applicants should have a (minimum) 4-year relevant Bachelor’s degree from a mainstream university (state/federal or deemed institution) passed with First Class Distinction or First Class.
  • A BSc Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% is required.
  • Applicants should have a solid background in programming, software engineering, and fundamental computer science such as algorithm design.
  • Additionally, basic knowledge of calculus, linear algebra, probability theory, and statistics is required.
  • A GRE with a minimum score of:
    • 154 for Verbal Reasoning
    • 163 for Quantitative Reasoning
    • 40 for Analytical Writing
  • Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
    • TOEFL with a minimum score of 21 for each section
    • IELTS with a minimum score of 60 for each section
