Federation University Australia Global Excellence Scholarship is offered by the Federation University Australia – Brisbane Campus . Federation University Australia Global Excellence Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is AUD 6575. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

    • The scholarship is non-refundable and may not be transferred to a cash amount
    • If an awardee withdraws from a course of study after the applicable semester Census date, they will be able to retain the scholarship provided they continue to meet the scholarship conditions
    • If an awardee withdraws from the program, they will forfeit the scholarship
    • The scholarship cannot be deferred into commencement in a future calendar year

Scholarship Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be:
    • A prospective international student
    • Enrolling as a commencing student in semester 1, 2, or summer semester in 2022
    • Eligible to study in Australia with a valid visa
    • Not be in receipt of any other University Scholarship
  • For undergraduate programs – overall academic performance with ‘Distinction’ in Year 12 (senior high school) from any one of the following:
    • CBSE or CISCE: 70% in the best 4 academic subjects
    • Acceptable State board Year 12 result with 75% in the best 4 academic subjects (exclude Punjab and Haryana State Boards which requires the student to have a score of 80%)
    • The student must meet the minimum English requirements for admission into the selected program and no more than 10 weeks EAP program to be offered (or equivalent)
  • For Bachelor of Business program:
    • IELTS: Overall score of 6 with no band less than 60
    • TOEFL: Overall range: 60-78 and minimum score in each band Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21
    • PTE: Overall score of 50, no band less than 50
  • For Information Technology program:
    • IELTS: Overall score of 6 with no band less than 55
    • TOEFL: Overall range: 60-78 and minimum score in each band Reading 8, Listening 7, Speaking 16, Writing 18
    • PTE: Overall score of 50, no band less than 50
