Additional Information:

  • Each application will go through a fair but strict selection process before a winner is chosen to receive the one-time non-refundable financial aid of $1,000
  • The winner of the Josh Gibson MD Giving Program will be informed via an email, which they must acknowledge at the earliest
  • The winner’s name will be announced on December 31, 2021, on joshgibsonmdgiving.com and the financial aid will then be transferred to his/her official bank account

 

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed High School with:
    • 75% in the case of Central Board, or
    • 80% in the case of State Board
  • Prerequisites: SACE stage two specialist mathematics or mathematical methods or equivalent
  • Available for commencement in semester 1 and 2 of 2022
  • Available to new students only
  • Full fee-paying international students (citizens of Australia and New Zealand and Australian Permanent Residents or other permanent visa holders are ineligible to apply)
  • Open to international students of any nationality
  • Assumed knowledge: Knowledge of SACE stage two physics or equivalent is assumed
  • English Language Proficiency Proof:
    • IELTS: 60 with 60 in Speaking and Writing
    • TOEFL: 72 with 18 in Speaking and Writing
    • PTE: 50 with 50 in Speaking and Writing
