Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have a minimum 16 in AISSC (awarded by CBSE) calculated on the basis of the overall grade in the best four externally examined subjects where A1=5, A2=45, B1=35, B2=3, C1=2, C2=15, D1=1, D2=05
  • Applicants must have a minimum 90 in ISC (awarded by CISCE) calculated on the basis of the overall average on the best four externally examined subjects
  • Applicants must have a minimum 95 in Indian State Board
  • English Language Proficiency:
    • TOEFL: 94 with a minimum 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening, and speaking
    • IELTS: 7 with a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest
    • PTE: 65 with a minimum 54 in each subtest
    • Applicants with Grade C1 in English Core from All India Senior School Certificate – [CBSE] and 70% in English from Indian School Certificate – [ICSE] can fulfill the English Language requirement
  • Applicants need to be an Indian citizen, currently living in India
  • Applicants need to have received a full offer of admission to study a UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree commencing in 2021 to be eligible for this scholarship
