USAScholarship Overview
International Students and Scholars Office awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have documented financial need. A large portion of the scholarship funds come from International Student Tuition.

The scholarship is available for all UG and PG programs
Students participating in Optional Practical Training (OPT)/Post-Completion Academic Training (AT) /Intensive English and Orientation Program (IEOP) are not eligible
Scholarship amount details
- The applicant may be awarded an amount from $500 (min) to $2,000 (max)
- Scholarship availability and amount will differ each semester
- Scholarship will be placed on U-bill of the applicant during the same semester that he is awarded the scholarship

Appication Process for this scholarship
- Applicants are required to submit a letter explaining their financial need and how they will use the scholarship funds (500-word maximum)
- ISSO will send an e-mail each semester to students when they are able to apply for the ISSO scholarships (Fall: mid-September and Spring: mid-February)
- During the application submission timeframe, students may submit their scholarship application in Cystart

Scholarship Eligibility
- Applicants must have been at ISU in the current degree-seeking program for one full academic year
- Applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 25
