This award is established for international students and students residing outside of Arkansas, who must be admitted unconditionally to the Graduate College and program at the Arkansas Tech University.
This scholarship is offered to the new, incoming students in the Master of Engineering with Electrical Engineering program for Spring, 2021.

  • The Out of State Tuition Fee Waiver allows an eligible student to receive a discount of 50% on the total tuition costs per semester
  • Waivers are renewable pending a student maintaining a cumulative 3.25 graduate GPA

Scholarship Eligibility

  • A limited number of waivers are available for students in the eligible programs
  • A student must receive unconditional admission to the respective graduate program
  • Students must maintain 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average and be in good standing with the university
  • The award can be applied to up to 9 hours in the fall and 9 hours in the spring (for a total of 18 hours in an academic year); it does not apply to summer semesters
  • This waiver will be automatically renewed each fall and spring semester until the completion of your degree
