  • After submitting an application (or applications) for an HS-eligible master’s programme before the stated deadline, non-EU/EEA students will have the option of submitting an application for the NL Scholarship

Scholarship Eligibility

 

To be eligible for an NL Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must not hold an EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch study grant and loan system
  • Applicants must never have been enrolled at an educational institution in the Netherlands (if they only took part in an exchange programme in the Netherlands, this does not make them ineligible)
  • Applicants must have applied for an international master’s programme at Utrecht University with a start date of 1 September 2025
