Scholarship amount details
Applicants will receive:
- a scholarship to cover 25% of their tuition fees for the first two semesters of study at QUT (This scholarship is based on the applicant’s entry score)
- an ongoing scholarship to cover 25% of their tuition fees per semester of study at QUT, provided students meet academic conditions.
Conversion rate used: 1 AUD = Rs. 54.76 (last updated 7th December 2023).

Scholarship Eligibility
- Scholarship requirement:
- Completed a qualifying course with the required academic result
- Meet minimum English language entry requirements for the degree program
- If you complete a QUT pathway program for the purpose of satisfying QUT English language requirements, you may be eligible for this scholarship once you start your degree program
- Receive an admission offer letter into one of the eligible courses offered by participating faculties
- Applicants must have a recognized comparable bachelor degree with a grading scale approximately equivalent to:
- QUT 7-point scale: 60 on a 7-point scale
- 4-point scale: GPA of 33
- Percentage scale:
- Overall GPA: 85% where 60% is a pass
- Overall GPA: 825% where 50% is a pass
- Required for admission into the course:
- Applicants must have completed a recognized four-year full-time bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 40 on QUT’s 7-point scale; OR
- A completed recognized three-year full-time bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 40 on QUT’s 7-point scale and two years of full-time professional engineering work experience
- English language proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL: Overall 79, Listening: 16, Reading: 16, Writing: 21, and Speaking: 18
- IELTS: Overall 65 with no sub-score less than 6
- PTE: Overall 58 with no sub-score less than 50
