The International Student Scholarship is available to all new international students in vocational, research, full degree and English packaged with academic courses. There is no minimum GPA to receive this scholarship. If you have completed your most recent studies and are commencing your course at CQUni as a new student, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship and receive a 25% reduction in your course fee.

Additional Information: ELP waiver- Applicants who successfully completed a previous study where the medium of instruction was in English at a university or post-secondary school are exempted from English proficiency requirements. This scholarship is not available to current student.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants:

  • must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) awarded by CBSE, ISC, West Bengal, and Maharashtra boards with minimum average of 60 percent in four academic subjects
  • must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate from all other boards with a minimum average of 65 percent in four academic subjects
  • must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following tests-
    • IELTS- Overall 6, with no individual band score of less than 5.5
    • TOEFL- Overall 75, with no score less than 17
    • PTE- Overall 54, with no score less than 46
  • A minimum GPA is not required to receive the ISS In recognition of COVID impacts, this is to provide an additional form of support so students can still access higher education
