Chancellor’s Scholars are decided on based on their instructional achievements and are the pinnacle college students in each school. The Chancellor’s Scholars are decided on in each faculty and the dean (or dean’s designee) submits info of the chosen honorees to the Office of Academic Affairs. Guidelines for the Chancellor’s Scholars nominations might be sent to deans in late fall.

Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Submit a reference form specific to the scholarship itself
    • This recommender must be someone other than the school counselor who will be providing your reference for admission to the Honors College and cannot be a family member
  • Essay:
    • In a 400- to 600-word essay, please describe how you demonstrate these values in your own life. Why do you believe you are a strong candidate for our inclusive community?
  • Submit a scholarship resume detailing experiences relevant to international and cross-cultural involvement in addition to the general resume
  • Sample of academic work
  • General Application documents:-
    • Submit full and complete academic records from every secondary school and university/post-secondary institution attended
    • 9th, 10th, 11th marksheets
    • Proof of English language proficiency
    • Submit financial documentation
    • Submit Explanation of Time Since Last School Attended
      • If the applicants plan to enroll at IUPUI more than 3 months after graduating from secondary school, they will need to give the university a short explanation of what they have done with their time since graduation

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants are eligible if they:
    • Apply for a Fall term
    • Complete an IUPUI application and an Honors College scholarship application (and submit all materials)
    • Have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 (weighted)
