Scholarship Award Conditions:

• • Recipients must be willing to be an international student ambassador for La Trobe University
  • Applicants must maintain a full-time enrolment
  • Satisfactory academic progress during their studies is required

 

Scholarship Eligibility

• The applicant must be a citizen and resident of India or Sri Lanka
• Applicants must be eligible for direct entry (no ELICOS or pathway) commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
• The applicant must have an overall WAM* (AQF Equivalent) of 80% or above
• Applicants must be a full-fee paying student (Non-Sponsored)
• An Australian Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60%
• Prerequisites: At least two years (four semesters) of biology, including at least two semesters in any of the following areas of study at second-year level or above: biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, cell biology, genetics, or biotechnology

ELP Scores:

• TOEFL: With scores of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
• IELTS: With no individual band score less than 60
• PTE: (Academic – Test after 1 Dec 2020) Overall score of 56 with no communicative skill score less than 46 (Academic – Test before 1 Dec 2020) Overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50

Preference will be given to the following candidates:
