La Trobe University – Vice-Chancellor Scholarship – India and Sri Lanka is offered by the La Trobe University .Vice-Chancellor Scholarship – India and Sri Lanka is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is AUD 37200. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: CV.

Scholarship offers a 100% deduction on annual tuition fees.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a citizen and resident of India or Sri Lanka
  • Applicants must be eligible for direct entry (no ELICOS or pathway) commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
  • The applicant must have an overall WAM (AQF Equivalent) of 80% or above
  • Applicants must be a full-fee paying student (Non-Sponsored)
  • An Australian Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification
  • ELP Scores:
    • TOEFL: With scores of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
    • IELTS: With no individual band score less than 6.0
    • PTE: (Academic – Test after 1 Dec 2020) Overall score of 56 with no communicative skill score less than 46
