GCU are pleased to offer a loyalty scholarship to any returning alumni to the value of 20% discount for any self funded tuition fees. A discount of 20% off programmes is available for self funding students starting in 2023 who have received their undergraduate or postgraduate taught or research degree qualification from GCU (or one of the founding institutions).

Applicants will automatically receive the fee discount when they are offered a place on their chosen course, and at the time of invoicing for each subsequent year of their degree if they meet the criteria above

  • SOP:Statement of Purpose is required and should contain the following:
    • Motivation for wanting to study this particular course, at GCU in particular, and how you have learned more about this course
    • What interests you about your chosen course’s content, and what makes it the most suitable one for you to undertake
    • Was there a particular factor in your choice of institution, such as the local area, the reputation of the team involved in the course, placement opportunities, or similar?
    • Your background, in relation to previous studies, employment or work experience, and why this course represents an appropriate progression from what you have done before
    • Your plan upon graduation and how this course will help you realistically achieve your goals and objectives
    • Should also outline why you wish to study in the UK, rather than study a course in your home country

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicant must be self-funded
  • Also, the applicant must fulfill the below requirement:
  • an undergraduate degree from GCU (must have graduated)
  • or a GCU Summer School
  • or an exchange program at GCU
  • Applicants must have any one of the following:
  • The UK honors degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in any subject area
  • Four years Bachelor’s degree (50% minimum; second class average over course duration)
  • Three years Bachelor’s degree (60% minimum; first-class average over course duration)
  • For MBA Luxury Brand Management: the UK honors degree 2:2 (or equivalent), with two years’ appropriate management experience if the applicant has a non-business degree
  • IELTS score of 60 (or equivalent) with no element below 60 (specifically For MBA Luxury Brand Management)
  • IELTS: 60 (or equivalent) with no element below 55
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 54 with no element less than 51
  • ELP Waiver: Applicants scoring 70% or higher marks in English in 12th are exempted from English language tests
  • Other academic and vocational qualifications:
  • Each application to GCU is considered on an individual basis
  • If students do not have the typical academic entry qualifications but can demonstrate relevant work experience and/or credits from recognized professional bodies, they may be eligible to enter this course via the University’s Recognition of Prior Learning scheme
