Scholarship Overview

The promotion of international trade – the exchange of capital, goods and services across international borders or territories – is widely considered to be an indispensable element of international peace and stability. For such trade to thrive, countries must have laws that allow modern contract practices and guarantee the rule of law in business transactions.

• This scholarship is applicable for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the University
• This scholarship does not apply to the Macquarie University Master of Management course

 

Scholarship amount details

Amount of AU$ 10,000 is awarded annually towards the tuition fees for the length of the course.
AU$ 5,000 is credited against the tuition fees each semester (2 semesters in a year).

Max scholarship per student: AUD 5,000 => Rs 2,67,300
Conversion rate used: 1 AUD = Rs. 54.76 (last updated 7th December 2023).

Scholarship Eligibility

• Australian 8 honours qualification or recognized equivalent in law, business, commerce, economics, international relations or related discipline or Australian level 7 bachelor’s qualification in the same disciplines and 18 months relevant professional experience or recognized equivalent
• Required a minimum GPA of 4.50 on a 7.0 scale, which is equivalent to 50% – 54% in India
• Assumed Knowledge – Bachelor degree from an accredited university with a GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00
• Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following:
  • TOEFL – Overall 83 with a minimum of 12 in listening, 13 in reading, 18 in speaking and 21 in writing
  • IELTS – Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE – Overall 58 with 50 in each sub-section

Special Restrictions: No Special Restriction is applicable.
