Appication Process for this scholarship

  • LOR: Applicants are required to submit the names and details of two referees – Preferably one academic and one professional
  • Essay: Applicants need to submit an essay about themselves and detail about their interests, values and goals. LBS is interested in what motivates the applicant, evidence of leadership and teamwork, why he is looking to pursue a Masters in Management and what he will bring to the LBS community
  • CV: Applicants are recommended to use the given CV template
  • Academic Transcripts

Additional Information

  • GMAT/GRE waiver: Only applicants with exceptional academic performance will be considered for a waiver. To be eligible for a waiver, the applicant will need to meet the following criteria:
    • UK First degree equivalent (GPA 3.8/4.0) at the time of the request
    • Studying for or recently completed an undergraduate degree from a top 100 university, as outlined by The Times Higher Education World University Rankings (2015 – 2016)
    • Evidence of strong quantitative ability demonstrated through the undergraduate academics or work experience
  • While it’s not required, gaining work experience in the industry of choice is a good way to help the student understand whether this is the appropriate career path for them. Most students will have completed at least one internship prior to joining the programme

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicant must have an undergraduate degree in any subject area, with a grade equivalent to a UK First or 2:1, a GPA of 3.3 and above
  • English Language Proficiency Proof:
    • A score of IELTS, or
    • A score of PTE, or
    • English Language Proficiency is not required if applicants have completed their UG or PG degree entirely in English or if applicant have worked or lived in an English speaking country for at least two years since graduating from university
  • GMAT/GRE Scores
    • GMAT: Score ranges 600-800
    • GRE: Equivalent
  • Interview: A decision will be made to invite the applicant to interview. In cases where candidates are unable to travel to London, interviews will be conducted by members of the alumni community
